Lasting Traces образовалась в конце 2007 года на юго-западе Германии и состоит из четырех парниш: Томаса (вокал), Даниэля (гитара), Фабиана (бас) и Андреаса (барабаны). Обретение своего жанра у Lasting Traces проходило под влиянием таких групп как: Champion, Verse, Have Heart, Bane, Killing The Dream, Carry On, In My Eyes и т.д.
Играют очень приятный, не сильно скростный и душевнейший мелодик.

Наши песни - это результат каждодневных жизненных ситуаций, которые отображаются в наших текстах. C помощью позитивизма и реализма мы живем в сегодняшнем мире, а наша главная цель - отдать себя музыке, которую безмерно любим. Мы пытаемся вложить всю нашу душу и страсть в то, что мы делаем и считаем, что это стоит усилий. Мы проводим много времени развивая нашу музыку и совершенствуемся как группа.

It takes too much to confess that all our faith is just some fiction without we can't bear all days and nights. But what would be if we have nothing to believe on? Just an empty wrap covered by a veil of lies. It's all about believing, this is what we need to do. Leaving all past behind, carry all true thigs with you. We start believing, we start a new beginning. We start an new beginning, we start a knew believing, this is everything what counts. We start believing, we start a new beginning.

3. This Way Again
All time we shared meant the most to me from the bottom of my heart but it seems to me that you can't return what i feel. Our ways were separated it felt like a knife stabbed in my back. I expected that you'll be here once more. Then I realized it will never come this way again. It will never come this way again you're too late I'm gone. KILL this lies. KILL all pain. You made me aware that your heart is not true. Was it all just fake between me and you? We stood side by side, day by day for so long. But time has changed us we both are gone.

4. Leak
Treated like shit they made me look ridiculous but I still feel unspoiled I feel superior. I draw these conclusions, you'll never get me down. I rely on my mind destined to lead my way. I've made those descisions for myself and no-one else, either you accept this or FUCK YOU step back. Set sails to leave this port of disgrace I feel ashamed my world has lost its inner peace. Not even a leak will make this ship sink. I will defend my deepest choice whether they want my will to break.

I tried to close my eyes every damn fuckin.. night but a thousand toughts crashed within my head.It keeps me from falling asleep,keeps me from dreaming calmly.
Ever since I remember I..d no opportunity to scratch off this fuckin glut.My hands are smeared in blood because of the fighting on the battlefield of sentiments.
I just don..t know if ther is any reason left to overcome this ardous path and lead myself to victory.It feels like I..m dying tonight and I..m not even sorry to let myself fall.I..m dying

I hate those autumn days where darkness is as close as a cold wind in my neck.
Feelings changed into reality and the cycle has been completed once again.
It..s the time of being in doubt with myself.My focus is blinded,blinded by the question..where do I stand and where will I go.
I am disrupted,I..m questioning every single action,I..m disrupted I..m scared to fall apart.Running aimless,thinking hopeless give me an answer or forgive my my excuse.Denying me is no blasphemy and ignoring me won..t kill me.And smashing this self-destroying mirror will just kill an image and not the whole man.I will be the one I used to be and not the one you used to see.
Years have passed....so fucking senseless to thing about the balance in my life,victoy and defeat are just words that I can..t catch.Scratching on the surface and telling me nothing about myself.

I..ve made a promis to myself,I will never fell so dead inside again,so absolutely desolate,like a treasure that has never been found.No one released what was burried deep down inside of me for all that I had so much to give.No escape,still imprisoned.
I walked through the darkest places of my heart ,that I..ve painted with the blackest colors descending from my tortured sould,to break those chains of the deepest depression i fell into.Is this exactly what takes place for more than just a million years or is it just the fear of being never love.of always being disregarded.

I..ve painted a picture of what is left for me of what I once loved and it bears no proportion.Is this my destiny?....ending up with all the things that seems so strange to me.I..m so sick of letting go of giving all away.Death already took my by his hand so did I finally found my way out...out of a place where noone knows my name.I..d rather take deaths.. cold hands than to have noone by my side.Tonight I..m gonna leave this world and I..m never coming back to life.An endless walk through the longest days a painful waiting to be delivered at least.I..m refusing hope I..m refusing love.I am nothing but the ghost inside this world has turned it..s back on me.

For what it's worth.long since I gave it up.Long since I've tried to forget (to repress).
It never meant a thing to you. It never meant anything to you,but "This Love Is Taking Me Somewhere Else". I took a walk at dawn and everything seemed quiet and peaceful.Yet again we are dead. We're all just fucking dead again.Start picking up the pieces.All what's left of us,but there is nothing remaining. We've lost it all.And I can only blame myself,but it's all for nothing.Because this home ain't no longer home.Anything seems to burst,seems to fade in the end.With hindsight of what we've pledged if only I could get to know the satisfavtion of saying goodbye,but I never said goodbye.Now I'm at a loss for words.I once crossed that line and all I see are these nameless faces.And it seems that I'm condemned just to face words ripped from the heart but now it comes to my mind it's the only way to pay my debts.I'm paying debts.
