Как-то раз несколько пацанов из Питтсбурга попали под неземное обаяние девяностых, угорев по Integrity, Godbelow и Ringworm. Последствия таких влияний не заставили долго себя ждать, свежеиспеченная банда Steel Nation постановила не забывать свои корни и начала рубить старые песни на новый лад, то есть хардкор девяностых в более современной обработке. В результате уже дебютный полноформатник Soul Swallower оказался выше всяких похвал: злой, сочный и разудалый ньюскул, который музыканты на своем майспейсе окрестили "незаконорожденным чадом Spudmonsters, Ringworm и Blood for Blood". В начале 2009 года Steel Nation выпустили совместную семерку с калифорнийцами Crucified, а пару недель назад было объявлено о уже свершившейся записи 13 песен для нового альбома, запланированного на лето этого года.
