2018 хоть и не очень плодовит, но все релизы на редкость сильные

1 Die Nerven - FAKE (art-rock \ post-punk)
Слушаю этих немцев уже 4 года, начиная с альбома 2014 года. Этот релиз - злее, аутентичнее, с хорошим наруленным звуком. Лирическое вступление, боевики в середине, немного провисающая вторая половина и чудесная закрывашка.

2 The Drop - Last Stand (reggae)
Та категория регги, которая уносит не на Ямайку страдать хуйней, а в Лондон Гая Ричи торговать краденными браслетами и топовым гашишом. Шикарные духовые, качалово, очень качественная запись, мощные тексты.

3 Avantdale Bowling Club - Avantdale Bowling Club (jazz \ hip-hop)
Кендриком в итоге тут и не пахнет, только если проводить джазовые паралелли и, как писал Прожектор, раздражающие интерлюдии и концовочки. Нравится, собственно, даже больше чем ту пимп э батерфляй, по-моему выше на голову.

4 Stoned Jesus - Pilgrims (post-grunge \ latina-kraut)
Очень рад что попал на концерт и услышал вживую. Альбом регулярно переслушивается до сих пор, тематика очень неплохо накладывается на переживаемый мною в данный момент период отчужденности, где старое "мое" и "мои темы" уже distant light, а нового не видать.

5 Tuğçe Şenoğul - Gölgelerine (synthwave)
Абсолютно случайно наткнулся на данных ноунеймов из Турции. Тут и Шаде, и Линч, и винтажные синты с турецкими текстами.

6 Shahmen - California Is Cold (hip-hop)
Безусловно лучший флоу и подача релиза, стрейтфорвард лирика с шикарными аналогиями и настроением.

7 Dominique Fils-Aimé - Nameless (soul)
Шаде + Бенджи Клементайн = Доминик Филс-Айме

8 KAMNI - Отражение (psychedelic rock)
Собственно, повзрослевшие камни с аккуратным звуком, явно лучше предыдущего материала.

9 Jon Hopkins - Singularity (idm \ ambient)
Душно, плотно, абстрактно, наполегливо

10 Between the Buried and Me - Automata I\II (metalcore \ progressive metal)
Почему-то перевешивает даже львиную долю предыдущих релизов

11 Hot Snakes - Jericho Sirens (punk rock)
Камбек года

12 Wax Idols - Happy Ending (post-punk \ pop)
Люди все реже пишут хитовые песни. Несмотря на слабую инструментальную часть, вокалистка тащит энергетикой.

13 Villagers - The Art Of Pretending To Swim (indie \ folk)
Официальный саундтрек весны, треки просто волшебные

14 Jars - ДЖРС II (noise rock)
В музыке стало больше мелвинсов и метала, в текстах больше ебобо, потери самоидентификации, таксистов и алкоголиков, можно слушать вечно

15 Denzel Curry - TABOO (TA1300) (hip-hop)
Аудиокнига "Как перестать дрочить на Кендрика Ламара, задвигать темы по мраку и сделать все красиво"
