Варто почати з того, що я, мабуть, помлився розділом, бо тут не що блек, а металом не пахне зовсім. Абсолютно чистий дарк ембієнт. Хоча душа його явно тяжіє до блеку. Якось так, мабуть, думав (-є) і сам Ніколас, який за Ейшент Тундрою і стоїть (-яв).
Сам N. Skog є ніким іншим, як засновником того самого Hypnotic Dirge Records, де ми всі можемо завантажити будь-який альбом Odradek Room, Vin De Mia Trix, NONE чи Mavradoxa абсолютно безкоштовно. Тундра була його основним музичним проектом наприкінці нульових, після чого в пріоритеті перед музикантом став лейбл. В музичному плані це доволі сумна і атмосферна музика, я б сказав нагнітальна, але ще й заворожуюче красива і невинна. Зі схожого відразу згадується "Temple Forest" наших Hate Forest.
Словом, ніштяк.
Кумедно, але Ancient Tundra - один із найпопулярніших проектів, які можна зустріти на бендкемп-сторнці Hypnotic Dirge Records. І в цілому ця честь є заслуженою.
