Blood Incantation - круті вже тим, що приїжджали минулого року до Києва.
Крім того, це сама натуральна жесть. Їхню музику пробують описують наступними словами: "atmospheric
technical/ambient/funeral death metal", від яких вже тьмяніє в очах. І це ви тільки її ще не слухали. Цікавою особливістю їхнніх записів є те, що вся музика в студійному форматі є аналоговою, тобто записується цілком в рамках живої гри в студії.
Видаються на Dark Descent Records.

Триває робота на другим студійником. Що відомо:

“The production [on Hidden History of the Human Race] is more up front and aggressive than on Starspawn; guitars are tighter, beefier and have more mids. Drums are clearer and the kick drum is higher in the mix. The vocals have a slightly different approach but are still cosmic, just a little more up front. There is simultaneously more reverb/delay in everything as well as more clarity and punch. The whole thing is very trippy and psychedelic in a dreamlike and insane way, very much a journey. The most surprising thing to me is the effect on the listener after the full-on assault has subsided, which I will leave for you to discover on your own.”

Не все так однозначно...

Кстати, там интересная история. Вообще на облоге запечатлена картина английского художника по имени Bruce Pennington (который, кроме всего прочего, иллюстрировал культовые книги Азимова, Герберта, Хайнлайна etc.). Agony использовали ее без разрешения, а Blood Incantation, в свою очередь, получили все необходимые права. Вот так вот.

Пока что первые 4 минуты Starspawn лучше, чем два новых трека вместе взятых

Вообще очень странный хайп и позиция в чарте. Альбом из 4 песен, одна из которых - филлер-инструментал. Возможно оставшиеся два трека - невиданные доселе шедевры, конечно, но...

(я фанбой spectral voice, bi и иже с ними )
