From the mean streets of Portland, OR come Criminal Damage, featuring members of Tragedy/His Hero Is Gone/Deathreat. Criminal Damage donUt follow the influences of these bands a they play a more upbeat, melodic style of UK punk that recent bands like No Hope For The Kids and Gorilla Angreb have been making popular in underground hardcore punk scenes.

This Portland, OR band plays punk rock akin to No Hope For The Kids. Sounding something like a very early ‘80s English punk band that would have had a release on No Future Records, such as Attack. Melodic punk rock with rough vocals that sound almost too slow. Criminal Damage features the drummer of Tragedy playing guitar in Criminal Damage.

This band is a project based in Portland consisted of members of the Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone και Deathreat. Of course everyone would expect from a band with members of that kind of bands i just said, to listen melodic and dark neocrust with heavy vocals, fast d-beat points and slow, technical atmospheric bridges. Wrong! This 4 member group surpise us (pleasantly) with this debut album, its sound is very good played 100% british street punk/oi! right like it was made in the late '70s/early 80's by bands like the Blitz, Sham 69 and Social Unrest. Here there are 8 songs, most of the written in mid-tempo "traditional" dancing punk rhythms, british vocals, exciting refrains that push you to "feel" from the beggining, street rock n roll style and political lyrics. Sure a very good release that if it had been out 20-30 years before it could be historical. Although i found all the tracks of this cd wonderful, i personally distinguish “The Power Of Fools”, ”No Turning Back”,”World Is Not Enough”, ‘Tomorrow".

CriminalDamage serve up a heaping helping of full throttle Blitz worship from Portland Oregon. Its uncanny how kick ass this is. The demo is equal parts of both full length records 'No Solution' and 's/t'. I believe they have a members of Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, and Deathreat. Most of the songs deal with ideas of oppression, self medication and the occasional song about somebody being beat up in the streets. All the songs are catchy and you will certainly find them stuck in your head with you singing along out loud. So this is for fans of Blitz, Skrewdriver, 4-Skins, NoHopeForTheKids, GorillaAngreb, etc...

Вот такие дела. Охуенный ой! в духе Blitz, Attack и остальных грандов. Записано и сыгранно так что хуй подумаешь что группа современная. Да ещё и барабанщик Tragedy и His Hero Is Gone играет здесь. И в довесок здесь есть участник Deathreat Выпустили 2 альбома и заглохли Если кто может дополнить био - буду благодарен.

Хорошая группа, альбомы отличаются по настроению, тем и хороши, что под разные ситуации подходят по-своему. Селф-тайтлед, кстати, больше нравится, он громче.
