Весьма крутая группа из австрии. при том что ребят всего трое звук у группы очень плотный и объёмный. и мрачноватый.
founded in the summer of 2005 by the brothers Munde and Berni, i not dance was originally planned as a compensation to their mathcore group lebrisk. they found a dedicated companion in Martin, got the first songs done and captured them on their cd-r "you make us nervous both ways". turned out to be related to screamo from the 90ies.
lebrisk was divided just a few months later and what was first thought to be just for fun, could have got serious now. Martin didn't have enough time to let himself into it but short time after Benny came out of the neighbouring rehearsel room to fill out the triangle.
within the following months they tried - probably like every band does - to develope their own sound, played a few shows in their vicinity and made another demo cd.
at that time their ways crossed with the swiss screamo band "mr. willis of ohio" and together they collected some stage experience around europe. the idea for a split seemed to be reasonable and was finally released on "from a strangers hands rec." in 2007.
in early 2008 they made up their mind about tackling the first LP.
"die Tonmeisterei" in oldenburg (DE) got chosen to be the place of birth and within a week in july a bunch of songs were captivated. at least the ones involved pretend to be very satisfied.
