STRAIGHTLINE was found in 1998 and was named SOFTCORE back then. After an almost complete change of our Line-Up we decided to change our name also, as this was a different band now. After some Demo stuff, small shows and some support shows for bigger bands we recorded our first Album "NO WAY OUT" in 2004/05. It's full of fast Melodic Punk & Hardcore Songs mixed with a little taste of Metal. The next 3 Years we're full of trouble for all of us, so we decided to stay unactive. At the end of 2009 we started from zero again with a new drummer and a new bassplayer. That Line-Up stayed together until today and recorded the "Change of Seasons" EP in 2010, did a Cover song for the Much the Same Tribute Sampler in 2011 and recorded our latest release "Sourcrowd" in May 2012. The last release may be different to everyone as it only consists from short 30 sec. songs in the vein of oldschool hardcore and thrash metal / crossover. But there´s no need to worry for everyone who like the melodic stuff. We just recorded a new album and will release it in 2013. So stay tuned for more informations....
