Another Sinking Ship это группа из Тампере, Финляндия. Они играли мелодичный и очень красивый панкрок с влияниями таких групп как Artiсles Of Faith, Reason To Believe и Leatherface. Собрались с подачи Jukka и Juho в 2004 году, но набрать состав единомышленников сперва казалось невозможным, поэтому только в 2005 году нашелся барабанщик Samuli, а в 2006 году пришел басист Frans. Но состав менялся и после этого. С того времени, как группа отыграла свое первое шоу в январе 2007-го, на котором выглядела как демоны под кокаином, они выпустили одну семерку "Works Well in a Crowded Area" и один лонгплей "Legacy". Выпустили релизы на лейблах Combat Rock Industry и Old Skool Kids. Выступали в основном в Финляндии, имели тур вместе с Wasted и Hero Dishonest. В 2009 году Another Sinking Ship окончательно ушел на дно

"ANOTHER SINKING SHIP Works Well in a Crowded Area 7"
Within seconds of hearing this Finnish band for the first time, I was immediately hooked on the raspy and melodic sound reminiscent of "Nine Years Later" by BORN AGAINST, mid-period stuff by ARTICLES OF FAITH, or even a bit of LEATHERFACE. Some of the songs are concerned with issues ("Fat Western Man" being my favourite), and some are personal, but all are excellently written and performed. This will be a band to watch out for.

"ANOTHER SINKING SHIP Works Well in a Crowded Area 7"
It's hard to believe that this is a new band, because from the second the needle dropped my head was bobbing like I'd had this 7" for years. The debut EP from Finland's A.S.S. is four songs of extremely catchy melodic hardcore that was made for live sing-a-longs. There's really no way to tell that thy aren't veterans of the scene with great writing, creative artwork, and smooth recording. Look for a full lenght next year.
