Cripple Bastards - итальянская грайндкор формация, образованная в марте 1988 года, в городе Асти, Италия, вокалистом Giulio the Bastard и гитаристом Alberto the Crippler, изначально игравшими в панк-метал команде Grimcorpses. Ввиду неудовлетворенности жанром, было принято решение сделать музыку более экстремальной и сменить название группы на Cripple Bastards. Смешав в своем творчестве элементы хардкора, метала и грайндкора, они, тем не менее, ухитрялись звучать отлично от существуществующих в то время команд. Первая демо-лента Cripple Bastards представляла собой сплит с Cuntn’ Bananaaz и группой Fishy (в которых, кстати, тоже играли члены Cripple Bastards). Затем последовало еще несколько демо-лент. Началась концертная деятельность. Группа выступала в различных местах по стране и, наконец, дала первый зарубежный концерт в Хорватии. В 1994 году в группу пришел басист Eduardo. В 1996 году группа выпустила свой первый полноформатник Your Lies In Check, после чего к ним на постоянной основе присоединился барабанщик Paolo.

Вскоре, после выпуска первого альбома группу покинул Eduardo, которого заменил Stefano, игравший в свое время в одной команде с Paolo. Однако, всоре оба покинули группу, оставив в ней опять лишь двух участников. В 2000 году увидел свет второй альбом Misantropo A Senso Unico, ставший еще более бескомпромиссным в своем жанре, явившийся, также, последним релизом, на котором Alberto the Crippler участвовал в качестве гитариста. Вскоре, после ряда кадровых перестановок, Cripple Bastards сформировали самый постоянный на данный момент состав. В 2003 году вышел альбом Desperately Insensitive, отличающийся более чистым звуком, но остающийся таким жетким, как и прежде.

За свою 18-летнюю карьеру они успели поиграть на одной сцене с такими грандами как RATOS DE PORAO, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, NAPALM DEATH, NASUM, VARUKERS, CHAOS UK, DOOM, DROPDEAD, FEAR OF GOD, PHOBIA, HELLNATION, FINAL CONFLICT, AGATHOCLES, DENAK, YACOPSAE, HAEMORRHAGE, REGURGITATЕ.

В 2000 году эта итальянская формация была удостоена трибьюта, на диске собрали кавера в исполнении таких групп как: GROINCHURN (South Africa), BIRDFLESH (Sweden), ACROHOLIA (Yugoslavia), GRIDE (Czech Rep.), DENAK (Spain), ROT (Brazil), TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION (USA), CARCASS GRINDER (Japan), ORCHID (USA), и других.

лайв, да еще и сплит в грайндкоре это наверно еще тот салат:stupid:
 
Ой, будто в грайндкоре сплитов нету...Да и куча групп пишется если не на диктофон, то все вместе. Так что записью тоже не испугаешь никого.
 
Звучат хорошо, достаточно громко и отчётливо, не грех и в плеере рандомом с хорошими студийными записями послушать, особенно крипл бастардс молодцы в плане звука.

This cd was supposed to be a ten-year-tribute to the Cripple Bastards, but it''s released 2 years after that date, so they made it into a ''Twelve Years Of...". This cd contains 32 bands doing one or more covers from the Cripple Bastards. The featured bands are: Groinchurn, Birdflesh, Acroholia, Hypo-Christians, Demisor, Gride, Denak, Hatebox, Final Exit, Mindlock, Magnetron, Strong Intention, Arturo, Rot, Infectious Outbreak, Total Fuckin'' Destruction, MRTVA Budoucnost, Entropia, Bloodsuckers, Smash The Brain, NY Against The Belzebu, Carcass Grinder, Harsh, Ruido De Odio, The Buttplugz, Orchid, Intense Musical Mastication, Regeneracion, Open Your Mind, Hated Principles, Rovina, Parental Advisory, coming from all over the world. In total there are 44 cripple covers. There are some really cool versions on this cd, as well as some which aren''t that good, but still are filthcore. The same with the sound. As we''re dealing with 32 different bands, we get 32 different sounds, some good, some bad, some average, but as we''re dealing with underground grind/noise summed up the sound ranges from average/good to good and totally not annoying! I think this cd is a worthy tribute and is also a good release. Grindcore lovers and cripple bastards should definitely check this one out. There''s also a big Interactive part on this cd, containing pics, clips, bio, etc,etc, and last but not least there''s a very cool version of Gulio The Bastard & Amanda Lear, doing ''Blood & Honey'', not to be missed!!! крайне органично подобранный материал и крутые комментарии (пожалуй, даже большая соль именно в них!). в общем, фаны будут определенно довольны:popcorn:
