Darkthrone - культовая блэк-металическая группа из Норвегии. В 1986-87 гг. группа называлась Black Death и играла дэт-метал в следующем составе: Андерс Рисбергет, Гильве Нагелл и Ивар Энгер. В 1987-ом группа переименовалась в Darkthrone, с присоединившимся басистом Дагом Нильсеном, продолжая играть дэт и самостоятельно выпустив 3 демо. Уже на втором демо «Thulcandra», 1989-го - вместо Рисбергета гитаристом стал Тед Скъеллум, после чего был заключен контракт с Peaceville Records на 4 альбома.

Первый - «Soulside Journey»,1991-го - был также выполнен в стиле дэт-метал, но в том же году группа познакомилась с Евронимусом из Mayhem, который усиленно пропагандировал блэк-метал, и следующие 3 альбома: «A Blaze in the Northern Sky» 1992-го, «Under a Funeral Moon» 1993-го и «Transilvanian Hunger» 1994-го, как и все последующие, были выдержаны в этом стиле. Тогда же члены группы взяли себе псевдонимы: Фенриз, Зефирус и Ноктюрно Культо, в то время как Даг Нильсен, не желая играть блэк, даже не дождался релиза «A Blaze in the Northern Sky» и покинул группу. «Transilvanian Hunger» многие торговцы отказывались брать в дистрибуцию, ссылаясь на то, что в нем якобы содержится пропаганда фашизма. Руководству Peaceville такой оборот дела пришелся не по душе, и оно отказалось от дальнейшего сотрудничества с группой. Дарктроновцев сей факт, похоже, не очень огорчил, и они перебрались под крышу Moonfog, которым заведовал Сатир из Satyricon. На этом лейбле Darkthrone дебютировали с альбомом «Panzerfaust». После выхода «Total Death» коллектив наконец-то сподобился выдать на суд слушателей сборник своих ранних вещей из дэтовых времен, планировавшийся к изданию еще в 1991 году. Ежегодный выпуск свежих альбомов группы наладился с 1999 года. Кстати, музыканты Darkthrone, а в особенности Фенриц, успевали отвлекаться на сторонние проекты, и в блэкушной среде их очень уважали. Подтверждением сего факта стал выпуск трибьютной пластинки «Darkthrone Holy Darkthrone», в записи которой приняли участие такие коллективы как Immortal, Satyricon и Emperor. Следует также сказать, что группа не имеет никакого отношения к нсбм - это она сама заявляла неоднократно.

Даркхэд. Тьфу, Мотортроун... Да и в Ноктюрнушке проснулся Том Уорриор! Соляки - охуенные и есть пара мест по психоделу. Понравилось - не отсырел порох в пороховницах.

могу завтра вот эти демки залить в 320 со вшитыми обложками, все дела.
кстати очень достойные демо, качество записей конечно оставляет желать лучшего, но это Дарктрон епт, да и в этой сырости что-то есть.

У меня всё не уходит ощущение того, что Soulside Journey - единственный охуенный дезовый альбом из Норвегии. По ощущениям и атмосферики, на мой взгляд, очень схож с тогдашними шведскими Entombed или Grave, прям такая эзотеричная скандинавская волна.

What aspects do you think reflect metal being plastic? And how do we fight the tide of plastic fans, plastic music and plastic voices?

- been fighting this fight since 88, i mean, the best thing to do is keep on having organic sound. don't cross that line. there are a thousand great organic albums, there are a thousand lame ass plastic ones. i am still shocked when i write "dont send me your music if it has modern sound" and they go "no of course not" but when i get the product the drums are hopelessely triggered etc. really!
