Уверен команда для ребят из раздела дистортед далеко не нова, но всё-таки хотелось бы услышать хоть пару тройку мнений по поводу сей замечательной банды :beer:

Молодая группа из Сан Диего, Калифорния, состоит из трёх обезбашенных, прокуренных пацанов - Mario Rubalcaba, Mike Eginton, Isaiah Mitchell. По звуку это всё тот же старый как мир психоделический гаражный рок с просто длинючими и сочнейшими, блюзовыми, эйсидными гитарными запилами и немерянным количеством фуза, почти при полном отсуствии вокала. На ребят, как они сами говорят, повлияла современная японская психоделик сцена, ну и само собой старые добрые Black Sabbath и Led Zeppelin.

Очень, очень и очень крутой звукан у пацанов, вот сейчас слушаю оторваться не могу :up:

EARTHLESS has a surprise for you. Whereas the band’s three previous albums featured anywhere from two to four completely instrumental space rock jams, the California trio’s fourth and latest, »Black Heaven«, is nothing like that. “It’s quite different,” drummer Mario Rubalcaba says with a laugh. “It has six songs, and most importantly it has vocals on about 70 percent of the record. There goes being pigeonholed as an instrumental band, I guess…”

While the band’s lysergic leanings are fully intact, »Black Heaven« takes on a more classic rock hue than previous outings. “For me personally, the psychedelic thing is pretty important,” Rubalcaba offers. “But I’m not sure if we’ll always be on the crazier side of things musically. Even on this record, there are moments when it’s more psyched-out, but we’ve always been really big fans of classic rock stuff like ZZ TOP, JAMES GANG, ALLMAN BROTHERS - and of course, CREAM. There would be no EARTHLESS if it wasn’t for CREAM. They’re like the great-grandfathers of power trios. So some of those simpler influences have leaked through on this record. To me, [album opener] 'Gifted By The Wind' has a more JAMES GANG or ZZ TOP vibe than FLOWER TRAVELLIN’ BAND or any of the krautrock stuff. With all the vocals and harmonies, that’s definitely a different direction for us.”

The band is giving fans an early preview of the six-track, 40-minute album, with a stream of the first track on the album, "Gifted By The Wind".

"It wasn't a premeditated thing to do a record with vocals," continues Rubalcaba. "On the older records, Mike [Eginton] was responsible for a lot of the riffs that would start these jams, but on this one Isaiah [Mitchell] really brought his own flavor to it. I'd say that's one of the major differences on this album: It has more of Isaiah's input. He took a risk bringing these ideas to us, not knowing if we'd like them. But as with everything we've done in the past, it felt very organic and natural."

даже если и так, тут ритм-секция на голову выше, так что уверен, что будет ок. две первые песни, по крайней мере, очень крутые и, кстати, вообще не голден войд
 
не вижу повода для паники) лайвов в сети просто море, где они или заканчивают свои сеты каверами именно песенных нетленок (ледзеппелин, хендрикс и т.д.), или ебурят весь концерт попурри-джемы вокруг песен определенных групп (кэн, хоуквинд). не знаю, у меня сомнений нет, что пушка будет. свежие треки с вокалом, что уже заценили - точно не голденвойд ауттейки. ну захотели мужики своих блюзов наделать, ну будем послушать :beer:
 
Вот согласен полностью с ычичем.
Если кто-либо играет одно и тоже из альбома в альбом, это значит называют самоплагиатом.
Но ежели группа делает что-то ей не свойственное, то сразу нахуй-нахуй.
Я короче за Earthless с вокалом.
 
конечно приверженец их инструментальных джемов, но рифф трека сразу заел в голове и это хорошо.
 
Послушал Gifted By The Wind, впечатления очень странные, очень. Вокал этой группе - как рыбе зонтик :dontknow: :cranky:
 
Охуенный альбом. Вернул мой интерес и любовь к группе. Будут конечно люди, которые скажут - говно. Исайя исписался и все дела. Я лично кайфую.

Просто чувак уже не знает какие ещё вертушки придумать и как пентатонику переиграть. По сабжу, новая версия End to End лучше предыдущей, да и из всех - тут вокал в миксе крут.
Black Heaven - самый канон, пушка.
