Psychedelic hardcore laced with weird polyrhythms, media-soundbite samples, tape loops and hairy walls of guitar that owe to the artier strains of Scando black metal and '70s Euro kosmiche musik.

Биография

Suffering Luna's been pushing psychedelic hardcore since the 1990s, surfacing from the underground to play and record with power violence, doom, and crust bands around South Cali as both Suffering Luna and Christfall then disappearing back into a haze of smoke for years at a time. They are currently on active status.

2011 - Discography

A complete discography of all released recordings beginning with the first split 7" w/ Dystopia back in the '90s up to and including the 2011 self titled lp. Includes the Suffering Luna tracks from the long sought after split w/ Gasp that defined the experimental edge of the PowerViolence scene at it's height in the mid-90's. It also includes the 2009 reunion studio sessions and a recording of one of the live sets that the LA Weekly described as "grueling, paranoid affairs that burn their way into trance." These are the recordings that pushed hardcore music farther than ever into L.A.'s anxiety ridden, misanthropic inner city world of psychedelics and hard drugs.

Лет пять назад на сплите с Дистопией я их так и не выкупил, а сейчас просто офигел от того, как я мог такую группу провтыкать. Новый материал потрясающий, офигенно тяжелый и мистически триповый как Neurosis в середине девяностых. Надеюсь, они не остановятся и в этом году еще что-нибудь выпустят
