The Asthmatics are from New England and they think that‘s wicked cool. They are three best friends that do fun things together. Sometimes they get mad at each other on tour. Sometimes they steal iced tea from corporate supermarket chains. And other times they get drunk and fall down. They sleep in a van and live off peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Manchester loves them. Boston enjoys them. Portland thinks they‘re keen. Providence wishes them well. Lowell claps their hands for them. And Dover buys them drinks. Started in late 2003. They played basements and coffee houses as local boys in 2004. Then regrouped in 2005. Began touring in 2006 and lost lots of money, but started getting it right by late 2007. They released their first EP in 2008. The summer of 2009 was spent working on their long awaited full-length release, "Coldest Winter Yet." They think the new record is pretty swell and hope that you do too. We‘ll get through this shit together…

Одно из относительно недавних открытий в поп-панке для меня. The Asthmatics не звучат слишком шаблонно и чересчур наиграно-трехакордно. Некий элемент оригинальности в них присутсвует, но при этом ничто не позволит нам усмомниться в чистоте их помыслов и преданности идям поп-панка! У ребят в активе ипишка 2008 года, которую я и выкладываю, а еще на майспейсе можно послушать свежий альбом. Он тоже крут. Так что если кто-то может рипнуть его оттуда - милости просим :)
