Проект Амона Радека из Москвы (aka Дмитрия Борисова из Фрязино). Выпустил семидюймовку на Galakthorro и поучавствовал двумя треками на компиляции того же лейбла «Kosmoloko».

Galakthorrö was one of the stops on the way for Amon Radek, the muscovite melancholiac in his search for good luck and happiness.
Together we worked out a very good debut, which attracted lots of attention and became popular with every one who listened to it. This single ep created all the best conditions required to embark on a successful career as a dark electronics innovator. Unfortunately there was more than mere dark electronics to contend with, there was also a dark attitude to life, and all the difficult living conditions that that (sic) causes. That is what has prevented Amon Radek from continuing on this path. It always hits the innocents of this world, as everybody knows. Life can still be a tragedy.

Amon Radek started off as a bass player in a band. The 90s drew to an end and he decided to strike out as a lone wolf and try out his talents in the Industrial-Music scene. Maska Genetik was born.
First of all he worked mainly on pitched rhythms, Deutsch Nepal was a great influence on him here, until he heard November Növelet for the first time, and scrubbed his harddisc – Tabula Rasa – bought himself synthesizers and bravely took the first step in the direction that would later be released on Galakthorrö: Angst-Pop at its best.

The first two pieces appeared on the Kosmoloko-Sampler and some time later we presented his Debut EP "Quarantine" with four more of his tracks.

Oh well, what can we say. The future looks pretty undecided, but as far as we know, he hasn't yet sold his equipment. We can but hope...

от себя: очень отличный шум. Познакомился с товарищем на компиляции Kosmoloko, где его треки, в чем то даже приятно выделялись на фоне таких исполнителей как Haus Arfana и Ко. Еще больше был удивлен, когда узнал, что проект российский. К сожалению, всего только один релиз, и походу больше не предвидится =(

“I’ve reached the limits of my strength” said Amon Radek, and set off in search of a new life. There was to be no place for Maska Genetik, it was too much of a torture to justify those high standards he insisted on. We were astounded and couldn’t believe it, and so we held his album back for some considerable time. Perhaps he wanted urgently to replace one of the songs? An artist of course, has his sensibilities, and a Russian has an additional inbred melancholy. So let us not be too hasty. Over the years we have certainly fulfilled our role as inheritance trustees, and so now we present his first and probably last album. It is all the more regretful, because Maska Genetik represented a pinnacle in the history of Galakthorrö, for us and for many of our listeners. This is obviously the case with Strada. There are songs to be heard that were created before, and after, the sought-after Quarantine EP. Radek’s inner conflicts and his very real suffering have shaped his Angst Pop into its own unique form. We are not presented with self-pity, but with anger and a deep sorrow, at a world fashioned by mankind, in which a future for humanity is hard to imagine.

Отличная новость, ждем! Haus Arafna к этому времени тоже обещают новый альбом.

Ну, я давно уже устал повотрять, что как правило, чем меньше музыкант находится "в тусовке", тем музыка у него глубже. Т.е как только автор перестает себя соотносить с "снг-индастриалом" (русском роком, пост-роком и т.д.) то становится на правильный путь. Люди интересны, тусовки - скучны.

Ну если честно, то Маска Генетик - в принципе та же Хаус Арафна (не последняя), по звучанию.
Щас заценим, что на новом альбоме

Хах, то что я хотел услышать в новой Арафне - услышал в новом Maska Genetik. Очень доволен альбомом, хотя абсолютно ничего нового Борисов не выдумал.

Похожие ощущения.
Впрочем, "Нью-йоркская Рапсодия" тоже получилась достаточно неплохой, особенно на фоне прошлогодней пластинки.

Хороший альбом, такая твердая 4-ка, все более-менее по канонам галакторо, только медленно как-то злость накапливается. Очень понравился трек Die Augen Der Finsternis.
Там где-то в теме про арафну Антиметер уже писал о схожести с вичхаусами позорными и от меня всегда терзала мысль, что галакторо как-то подозрительно непопулярно, а ведь всякие готы и хипстеры должны были хавать нормально. Видать сила ПЭ их и тут отганяет.

А как? 7 к слушателей у арафны и 4 у НН. У вайтхауса и БДН больше, хотя саунд у них жестче и готам они не понравились бы, я думаю.
