Yoga is an American duo formed by Vatten Hast and Eld Anka, who had a surprise appearance in 2008, based only on a limited cassette edition of 50 copies. Combining the dark atmosphere of black metal to new age mysticism, Yoga creates a different sound from everything you know.
In an interview with the blog "Hammer Smashed Jazz" Hast Vatten describes his music as Kraut Rock Electronica of the "Berlin school" (Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream) engraved with the cold style, space, oil, and unearthly prevailing the most underground of Black Metal, in particular the so-called "Bedroom Black Metal." "The more dirty and desperate sound, reminiscent more distant it becomes."
Yoga destructures the new age side of Kraut Rock with garbage sonic howls of hell, crumbling distortion, noise, tape noise walls intense dark, sinister drones, and constant scratching. The music is of this whole process has the hallucinatory quality of the writings of Burroughs: a fantastic mix of early Coil, Goblin and Xasthur, a sinister delight.

Сами участники описывают свою музыку как смесь краут-рока берлинской школы (Клаус Шульце, Tangerine Dream) и тягучего, холодного космоса.

Сначала решил, что ребята загнули с влияниями, но расслушал. Да, определенно есть влияния "Irrlicht", "Timewind" и "Atem". Что интересно - сам Шульце сейчас так записаться не сможет, потому что всего того чудесного цифрового хлама, который он пользовал в 70-е, сейчас у него нет, а новые синты убивают звук на корню - поэтому эту самую Йогу можно рассматривать как большой привет из далекого прошлого, которого, казалось бы, больше не будет.

ПС: черт, хорошо-то как - Aboombong (Can), Eat Lights Become Lights (Neu!), эти вот. 70-е возвращаются
