 Итак, лейбл Tzadik (читается как Цадик) был основан в Нью-Йорке в 1995 году, всемирно известным композитором и саксофонистом Джоном Зорном. Лэйбл специализируется на некоммерческой экспериментальной музыке. Все релизы выходят в 10 основных сериях (указаны группы и исполнители, темы о которых есть на форуме): - Radical Jewish Culture (серия посвящена современной еврейской музыке, сочетающей в себе традиционную, экспериментальную и авангардную музыку) - New Japan (в этой серии издаются альбомы современных японский музыкантов, жанры варьируются от фолка, нойза и до джаза)
- Oracles (экспериментальная музыка, созданная женщинами) - Lunatic Fringe (посвящена людям уникальным в каком-то смысле - игра на гитаре, классические произведения) - Composer Series (неоклассика, авангард, нойз-рок, мат-рок...) - Archival Series (серия посвящена творчеству Зорна) - Birthday Celebration (12 живых альбомов, записанных во время 30-дневной серии концертов, приуроченных к 50-летию Зорна.) - Key Series (Специальные проекты и важные записи ключевых персон музыкального авангарда) - Film Music (саундреки к независимым фильмам) - Spotlight (в этой серии планируется издавать записи новых перспективных музыкантов, по началу заявлялось, что это будет молодежь нью-йоркского даунтауна, теперь же рамки расширены) Есть еще одна серия под названием Special Edition - редкие и уникальные материалы, но на данный момент в ней выходят записи импровизаций в Нью-Йоркском клубе The Stone.
